Bucket Dilemma

Well, I finished a bucket hat last night, and my daughter tried it on and said, “I dunno – it looks like something an old lady would wear, ya know?” (and Susan, you shush!!) The problem is the fit. I already went down one size, looks like I’ll be going down to the smallest size, and changing a few things along the way. Oh well – live and learn eh?

So, it’s to the frog pond with this, and then we’ll begin again. But here’s a shot of what it looks like now, so that I can compare after I revamp it.

A sweater for me

When I’m working at the store I like to have something to work on that’s not complicated, so that if I have to put it down suddenly I won’t get lost with where I was. Currently my “mindless” knitting project is a lightweight sweater for me.

Yarn: Sirdar Denim Sport Aran
Pattern: Jo Sharp’s Book Three – The Holiday Island
