(click for bigger pic)This oddly distorted (but cool) photo is me, visiting Wool and Wicker in Steveston. Kaiti has a new cool lens, which we picked up from U*P*S ourselves (thereby saving the ass ton of $ they want for “brokerage fees"). My reward, of course, was a quick trip into Steveston to visit Wool and Wicker, drool over the yarn and pick up the Addi Cro-hook I’ve been wanting FOREVER.
Can you believe I didn’t buy any yarn!? I walked around with several hanks of Handmaiden, but in the end I left them behind. Actually I’m on project overload at the moment, that’s my excuse.
(more photos below, and all were taken by Miss K and her new lens)!

BUTTONS! TONS OF BEAUTIFUL BUTTONS!
This wasn’t all the buttons, there is also a box full of button cards, filled with the most beautiful buttons I’ve seen in awhile. I will have to go back and look more.

This is me, with all the books and magazines and flyers.
But what impressed me just as much? They have 2 washrooms! (yes, these things are important. especially when you drive for an hour or more to get there. bathroom breaks are very necessary!)

Kaiti had fun with her new lens. I love all these crazy fisheye views!

One more view of the main room of the shop. We forget the other side, I’ll get a photo of that another time!
It’s a nice shop, and I’ll definitely go back because I love visiting Steveston anyway. OH, and it’s one of the few LYS that are open on a SUNDAY! So many books, and needles and YARN ... all. that. yarn!
