Took this awhile back, never got around to putting it online.

I’m taking my camera in to get cleaned, then maybe I’ll start posting photos again.

Lately I’ve not liked any of my photos (which is why you don’t see many on flickr), it’s like I lost my objectiveness regarding my own work.

Anyway. There’s a wedding next weekend, and that is something to be excited about!

Okay, so I’m not exactly a “girl”, more like a crafty WOMAN…

(click to see larger pic on flickr.com)I found this little dresser (think Barbie sized) at the craft store, back in March. I knew what I wanted to do the minute I saw it. Think MODGE PODGE! Think NEW COLOUR!

So I’m a virgin modge podger no longer!  It was a lot of fun to finish this, and now it holds some of the beads and purse findings down in my studio. It’s not really all that practical, because it isn’t really big - but doncha think it’s cute? I meant to show this when I finished it, but I am such a lazy blogger lately!

I actually forgot to take a photo of what it looked like all together before I started the process, because I was in such a hurry to get started. But I will go see if they still have any of these, and will take my little camera and sneek a photo of the “BEFORE”.

(click for bigger pic)Just a little something I got in kit form at my local quilting shop last week. I saw it and couldn’t resist. I think I’ll be making a few of these as gifts too, since I have quite a bit of roving I’ve picked up but not really done much with.

The fun part will be to change up the flowers and the design a little bit. Why do I never think up these ideas on my own!
